DriveGH's core fleet is based in Accra and Kumasi. WhatsApp us to check availability and delivery options for Takoradi and the Western Region.
Takoradi, twinned with Sekondi, is the Western Region's commercial capital and home to Ghana's offshore oil industry, Takoradi Port and a significant expatriate business community. DriveGH's core operations are based in Accra and Kumasi -- for Takoradi specifically, WhatsApp us with your dates and we will confirm what delivery or rental arrangement is possible.
Takoradi's economy has grown significantly since offshore oil production began off Ghana's western coast, bringing an increased flow of international energy-sector professionals and contractors through the city. Takoradi Port also handles a substantial share of Ghana's mineral and agricultural exports, generating steady business travel demand.
The twin city of Sekondi sits immediately adjacent, and many business visits involve moving between the two -- a rental car makes this significantly more practical than relying on local taxis for each leg.
Since DriveGH's core fleet is based in Accra and Kumasi, Takoradi bookings are arranged case-by-case -- WhatsApp your travel dates well ahead of your trip where possible, and we will confirm the best available option, whether that's delivery from our core fleet or a local partner arrangement.
Because Takoradi isn't part of DriveGH's core delivery zone, response and confirmation may take slightly longer than an Accra or Kumasi booking -- typically same-day rather than the standard 15-minute confirmation. WhatsApp early with your dates for the smoothest experience.
Payment and insurance terms remain the same as any DriveGH booking -- MoMo, bank transfer or card, with comprehensive insurance included on every vehicle.
